Check out our vacancies.
Organization
The CIM works with several bodies, each with specific responsibilities.
CIM members
The members of the CIM come from three families: about fifteen advertisers, around twenty media and advertising agencies, and more than 130 media companies and their sales houses. They meet once a year at the General Meeting.
The Bureau
Delegated by the CIM Board, the CIM Bureau prepares meetings, executes specific tasks, makes operational decisions, and assists the General Manager in day-to-day management. The General Manager is also part of the Bureau but without voting rights.
All families are represented in the Bureau. The Board elects the Chairperson for three years, renewable once. The Chair can be a Board member or an external expert recognized for independence and expertise.
Current Bureau composition:
- Stefan Lameire, Chair CIM
- Veerle Colin (JC Decaux)
- Luc Eeckhout (UBA)

Permanent Structure
The Permanent Structure is the team led by the CIM General Manager, implementing CIM’s mission and decisions of the Board and Bureau. It supports Technical Committees and Strategic Committees, ensuring methodological quality and proper execution of CIM studies.
Technical Committees and Strategic Committees
Technical Committees monitor the practical execution of studies and supervise publications. More information here.
A Strategic Committee is a forum where the Buy Side and the Sell Side come together to define the CIM strategy within the broad guidelines set by the Board of Directors, and to strike the right balance between what the CIM must achieve and what it can realistically deliver — aligning resources with results. More information here.
